Museum of the Bible in Washington, Cairo in Egypt, Museum of Funeral Art in Houston (Texas), Oviedo in Spain, Chambery in France, Perello Sanctuary in Algua (Bergamo): certified copies of the Shroud can be found here, and from March 2024 it will also be permanently displayed in Gandino (Bergamo) in the sacristy of the church of San Mauro.
The reproduction of the Shroud was made possible thanks to the collaboration between, companies, organisations and volunteers who provided their knowledge and skills to give the world a message of hope in a particularly difficult year.
Linificio e Canapificio Nazionale took care, together with Terre de Lin, of the identification of the suitable seed, of the Eden variety, and then the spinning of the flax. The weaving was carried out by Torri Lana 1885, and the high definition printing by EFI Reggiani.
A QR Code is imprinted on each copy that refers to the text and image narration of the entire production chain involved in the Lino Val Gandino project.
Given the fragility of the original artefact, the Gandino copy will be exhibited in 2025 at the Museum of the Shroud of Turin on the Jubilee.
