Among the pioneers of Italian textile art, Mimmo Totaro has been engaged in intense international activity for over 30 years, reaching the East in 2022, thanks to his exhibition at the 12th Fiber Biennale at the Yunnan Museum, China.

His art explores the world of graphics, painting, sculpture, interior design and architecture, through interventions in urban and exhibition spaces made with materials related to textile art.

Every year since 1991, in collaboration with Nazzarena Bortolaso, he has been organising the “Miniartextil” contemporary textile art exhibition, the only one of its kind in Italy and one of the most highly recognised in the world.
