Currently living in New York, Eva and Franco Mattes have been leading representatives of net art for years.

Among the first artists to have used the Internet as a creative medium, their work reflects and dissects our hyper-connected condition of life, exposing its social impact and its ethical and political implications.

Nowadays, their works have marked some of the most important events in contemporary art: their participation as the opening work at Miart 2023 stands out, as well as their involvement in the GAMeC exhibition Salto nel Vuoto (Leap into the Void), and their exhibition in prestigious international museums and galleries, including SFMOMA and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, stand out.
